Essential Functions for the Senior Accountant: - The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Manage and support month-end close process.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Account reconciliations.
- Process grant payments.
- Enter and submit biweekly payroll.
- Ad Hoc projects.
Preferred Requirements for the Senior Accountant: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Senior Accountant must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience using Sage or other Accounting ERP software.
- Experience and proficiency in MS Office Applications Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented
