Who you are:

As the Manager of Medicare Advantage Product Administration for Johns Hopkins Health Plans, you are responsible for the day to day oversight and administration of plan benefits to meet the business needs and goals for our PPO, HMO and DSNP products. Your experience with product management and your business acumen in the Medicare Advantage setting sets you up for success in this critical and strategic position.

What you'll do:

• Oversee and manage several vendors supporting varying services for the health plan, such as dental, vision, hearing, etc., and ensure accountability to meeting plan expectations and contracted service level agreements
• Matrix-manage and collaborate with departments supporting Medicare Advantage operations, including, but not limited to the following JHHP departments, (1) Health Services, (2) Quality, (3) Operations, (4) Sales and Marketing, (5) Product Development, (6) Finance, and (7) Compliance
• Oversee and lead efforts for Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) readiness, ensuring the business is prepared for the new benefit plan year
• Manage short and long term portfolio strategy and execute on key initiatives. Leads the execution of initiatives across cross-functional workgroups.
• Partners with stakeholders on efforts to comply with CMS regulatory changes to Medicare Advantage.

What you'll bring:

• 3+ years' experience with a Medicare Advantage product line
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strategic and critical thinking
• Ability to build trusting relationships key to effective matrix-management
• Extensive experience with Medicare Products
• Strong knowledge and exposure to Federal and State health care regulations
• Experience leading projects and people in at least two of the following areas:
  • Product development
  • Product management
  • Strategic planning
  • Business consulting
  
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • Master's degree is preferred
