Overview Department 708 is seeking a highly motivated Program Representative to support with numerous business related tasks. This position is located on Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Honolulu, Hawaii. The candidate should do adequate research to understand if this move/position will fit their life style.
The Program Representative will be responsible for ensuring accomplishment of established program objectives, to include but not limited to, Badging & Security, LAR support, Shipchecks, Department Metrics, and Training Support.
A wide range of experience is preferred, to include as many of the oversight areas and direct support functions as possible. The position requires the candidate to be focused on running tasks to completion, while being flexible to others schedules. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment, while managing their independent work area. The candidate shall be experienced in reading blueprints, and have the necessary math skills to perform this function. The candidate should be proficient in MS office (Required: Excel, Word; Preferred: Access and Project). The candidate must have exceptional organization skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide support to EB personnel preparing to visit Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH) and PHNSY with regard to credentials and visit requests.
- Coordinating and submitting badging for all EB employees traveling to Hawaii.
- Developing and maintaining department metrics; including but not limited to Overhead, Training, Funding, and TI submissions.
- Supporting with OMNIBUS TI development and processing.
- Tracking LAR requests and expediting LAR responses which impact PHNSY from VAPY or other assigned EB groups.
- Organizing Shipalt metrics for PHNSY boats and performing Ship Checks on Shipalts as requested.
- Assisting with Large data transfers to PHNSY/NAVSEA from Electric boat systems.
- Supporting with the developing department standards.
- Maintaining a positive service approach.
- Supporting other activities not listed.
Responsibilities - Strong verbal, written and organizational skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and integrate a wide range of personnel within EB and outside of the company including, PHNSY NAVSEA, PMS392, PMO 555.
- Must be confident in communicating and working with upper management Navy personnel.
- Must be able to coordinate high-level internal and external customers with a customer focused approach.
- Must be reliable, possess a strong team orientation, be customer focused, and have a desire to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications Required :
- Associates degree or higher.
- Active security clearance.
- Internal candidates must be from organizations outside of Operations (Casciano/Gabriel).
Desired :
- Bachelors degree or higher or technical degree.
- 5+ years of professional related experience.
- Experience working in a program office or engineering office.
- A strong background and experience dealing with EB technical and administrative departments such as Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Accounting.
- Advanced MS skills; Excel include pivot charts/tables and updating databases. PowerBI development and maintenance. Project Schedule development.
- Must be able to understand and translate business needs into system/Metric requirements.
- Past experience working in Naval Shipyard environment.
- Basic knowledge of EB Programs and Projects.
