Job Title: Packaging Operator
Work Location: Salisbury, MD 21801
Duration: 9 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour on W2
Shift Timings: Monday-Friday, 730AM-4PM
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide packaging services of pharmaceuticals products in accordance to work schedule
Inspect to ensure that packaged products are in acceptable physical conditions for the clients and consumers
Inspect products from packaging lines with respect to the labels, lot number, expiration dates and products physical quality
Perform product bulk filling
Operate packaging equipment
Assist in the assembly of boxes; maintain registry of the destroyed printed material during the manufacturing process
Pack and palletize.
Shrink wrap skid product.
Prepare product for destruction.
Must stay within GMP compliance and keep area clean.
Qualifications:
Experience packaging and inspecting pharmaceuticals products, Experience operating, cleaning and assembling of packaging equipment
Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.
Must be self motivated and have a strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills required.
Candidate must be able to lift 25-50 lbs and there will be moments of 2+ hrs standing.
