Premise Healthis currently looking for a full-time Health Center Concierge - Bilingual Spanish to join our team at our employer health clinic located in Columbus, IN!
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- MUST be Bilingual Spanish
- Assist with outreach efforts at assigned client locations
- Promote LiveWell Clinic within client locations
- Assist patients and staff within the clinic
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Fosters communications and coordinates benefits with insurance companies with the goal of creating a smooth patient centered experience.
- Assist with the execution of the Cummins strategic wellness services for Cummins account.
- Represents LiveWell and coordinates regular outreach efforts at assigned manufacturing locations
- Develops and translate Spanish teaching tools and marketing materials used to promote services
- Collaborates with other wellness team members to market and communicate all programming across sites.
- Co-facilitates educational sessions
- Complies and tracks data from outreach efforts
- Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler.
- Makes appropriate changes in computer system and on patient's chart.
- Greets patients with a smile and may assist them through the registration process
- Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate.
- Extends a warm and caring approach to all patients with a respect for diversity
- Keeps patient informed of wait times and manages visit expectations
- Helps patients navigate the health center and escorts patients as needed
- Ensures health centers uphold Premise brand standards by posting only branded and approved materials, and maintaining a welcoming appearance
- Resolves questions about whether services are condition specific or related to preventive care
- Coordinates referrals for patients through insurance and other physician offices or specialists
- Facilitates the transfer of medical records and lab results
- May assist in the arranging of DME equipment following a discharge from the hospital
- Facilitates the reviewing of test results with another physician for diagnosis confirmation
- Coordinates and makes arrangements for diagnostic tests
- Coordinates care for patients with complicated medical issues
- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- May require other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
- Associates in health field including but not exclusive to: public health, allied health, exercise science, health promotion, etc. or equivalent experience.
- One year certificate from college or technical school with concentration in front office support for medical settings preferred
Experience:
- At least 3 year experience in a front desk/customer service related field required
- Experience in a medical office preferred
- 1 + years working in corporate wellness/health promotion
