The Lead Performance Engineer will be responsible for scaling the GuestXP team’s load and performance capabilities across 10 software delivering product teams. They will work with architects and engineering teams to determine performance projections, undertake performance analysis, drive adoption of application monitoring tools, coordinate Load & Performance tests, and provide recommendations to mitigate latency issues across the entire application as we scale to 2000+ dealers and 100,000+ users.

+ Anticipate, Identify, and Provide Recommendations to mitigate any issues that would negatively impact application performance
+ Use automation performance measuring tools such as LoadRunner, Jmeter, etc to measure performance and make improvment recommendations.
+ Use application logging and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, etc. to monitor system performance and provide guidance
+ Creating observability monitors covering the SRE 4 Golden Signals: Latency, Traffic, Saturation, Errors
+ Use SQL , Oracle databases and knowledge of AWR reports
+ Create and implement complex processes and procedures for monitoring and measuringsystem performance
+ Expertly articulate industry best practices and help guide the product teams in improving and maintaining systems at optimal levels
+ Anticipate, Identify, and Provide Recommendations to mitigate any issues that would negatively impact application performance
+ Experience with automation performance measuring tools such as LoadRunner, Jmeter, etc.
+ Experience with application logging and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
+ Experience creating observability monitors covering the SRE 4 Golden Signals: Latency, Traffic, Saturation, Errors
+ Experience with SQL , Oracle databases and knowledge of AWR reports
+ Experience in any Object Oriented Programming language
+ Experience working with Agile software teams managing REST / SOAP services
+ Passion for data and understanding its impact on the customer experience
+ Ability to create and implement complex processes and procedures
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ 10+ years of experience in software engineering or software performance testing related activities
+ Bachelor of Science or Technology
