Job description

60% Develop software for various environments with a cloud first approach. Participate in the design and development of software systems. Develop and deploy background processes and APIs as cloud services and enable end to end testing. Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to rapidly deliver software solutions, including pertinent analytics.

30% Maintain and update the existing computer services and program documentation to ensure compliance with department standards. Consult with internal and external users and software specialists resolve problems. Evaluate office and computer processes and procedures to define and solve routine problems. Support and maintain existing applications including feature additions and bug fixes.

10% Research, evaluate and implement cloud native tools and architectures to improve scale and performance. Take part in design research and help identify opportunities. Identify and implement technical improvements and solutions.

Additional Position Information:

Education:

Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing, deploying and maintaining cloud-based, enterprise-level applications and systems. Requires familiarity with cloud-based computing concepts, cloud-based development tools and frameworks, programming languages and ability to use cloud services and APIs. Understanding of cloud security, compliance and best practices. Must possess highly developed computer skills including software, database, and web browser capabilities. Strong problem solving, communication and technical skills required.
