Position: Investment Director

We are currently seeking a Director based in San Francisco to join our esteemed Investment Team. As an Investment Director at the company, you will serve as a key player in our outside sales team, dedicated to identifying, nurturing, and executing new investments in technology businesses seeking growth capital.

In this role, you'll have the extraordinary opportunity to collaborate with early-stage tech founders, assisting them in tailoring funding structures that align with their distinctive financing requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Lead the sourcing and execution of investments into expansion-stage technology companies for the company.
- Possess 4+ years of business development/sales experience, ideally within financial services, venture capital, investment banking, corporate lending, or a related field that bridges startups, financing, and business development.
- Serve as an industry expert with a comprehensive understanding of the startup fundraising process and ecosystem, including angel investors, venture capital firms, and more.
- Maintain a robust network of VC and tech banking relationships, considered a plus.
- Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of financial statements, including the ability to analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and managing an active pipeline of investment opportunities.
- Display a genuine passion for startups, coupled with a sincere desire to support entrepreneurs in their journey towards successful business growth.
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging effectively with CEOs and CFOs of expanding startup technology companies.
- Boast a proven track record of excelling in a high-volume sales environment.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred.
