As a Residential Sales Manager for our Home Services Business, you will lead and manage the Sales and/or Comfort Advisors to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. You will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, expanding our customer base, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will drive sales success, foster a motivated team, and maintain a customer-centric approach to help our Home Services Business thrive and achieve its growth objectives
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales and/or Comfort Advisors to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate, track, and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas requiring attention.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and promote new programs to maintain a strong off-peak workload.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the Marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales-to-install handoffs and exceptional customer experiences.
- Conduct regular meetings with Sales and/or Comfort Advisors to communicate sales targets, share best practices, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Review all proposals in the quote tool for options and approved discounts.
- Hold Sales and/or Comfort Advisors accountable for quoting in the home and leading with financing.
- Attend managers' meetings focusing on the sales and performance of the department and procedure changes.
- Prepare and conduct Sales and/or Comfort Advisor commission reviews with follow-up on performance issues.
- Participate in recruiting and training efforts to build a team of skilled and high-performing Sales and/or Comfort Advisors.
- Ensure all company vehicles are maintained according to fleet policy.
- Other duties/tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in residential sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Prior experience in the home services industry is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire Comfort Advisors.
