Then the Workforce Skills Instructor position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and caring individual to join our spirited team.
· Provide support to basic career services and program participants in career pathway planning, employment curriculum development and delivery, job training, job placement and retention services.
· Conducts virtual and in-person individual and group instruction and career-planning sessions with job seekers
· Delivers career awareness and employability skills curriculum that align with employer goals and expectations in various CareerLink sites and partner locations
· Counsels, motivates, and encourages job seekers in advancing employment, training, and retention goals and provides support in resolving issues that may impede successful job placement and retention
· Creates and maintains basic and individualized job search tool kits to include resumes and other required job search documents for job seekers
· Assists job seekers in identifying appropriate job preparation resources and use of job search software programs
· Develop versatile and engaging employment readiness offerings and platforms that meet the needs of current workforce trends
· Assesses job seekers’ skills and suitability for referral to available job openings
· Identifies appropriate candidates to participate in work based training opportunities and certified credentialing programs
· Implements recruiting processes and initiatives with recruitment team in supporting job placements
· Support off-site events and CareerLink satellite site locations.
· Schedule, promote, and attend regular on-site and off-site community partner, education and training, and employer presentations and visits
· Participate in regularly scheduled peer to peer and monthly staff meetings to strategize and implement optimal service delivery
· Maintain detailed documentation of all contacts in the state’s system of record per contact requirements
· Tracks progress for weekly reports and completes required reports as it pertains to program(s) operations.
· Provides timely reports to Workforce Skills Coordinator and Client Services Manager
· Identifies and evaluates methods for improving program processes and services and makes recommendations to the Workforce Skills Coordinator and Client Services Manager.
· Reaches weekly and quarterly target measurements and tracks progress on required reports as they pertain to program operations

· Bachelor's degree in education, training, human resources, business management or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
· Proficient aptitude for technology and Microsoft Suite
· Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
· Must have clean driving record and reliable transportation
· Experience in a team-oriented environment
· Bi-lingual skills or experience working with ESL populations a plus
