Job description
The Learning Center Manager e mbodies College Tutors Core Values. Leads, manages, and is responsible for:
- Supervision and retention of tutor family clients including the scheduling and ongoing needs analysis through cross-promotion and cross-selling of services
- Learning Center coverage during set schedule to include nights and weekends
- Facilitation and scoring of College Test Prep practice tests for both current students and promotional group tests
- Tutoring schedule for in center and remote tutoring customers and tutors
- Tutoring students in subjects of expertise in centers and remote
- Conducts Tutor family meetings during scheduled hours
- Achievement of bi-weekly tutor revenue, billing, and gross margin goals
- Sales inquiries during scheduled hours when other team members are not available
- Community networking and relationship building including schools, counselors and teachers to increase sales funnel
- Conducts interviews, phone screens, reference checks, inquiries, and order fulfillment
- Assist Role Model and Family Placement Manager on responsibilities during peak times including On-Call order fulfillment and achievement of bi-weekly revenue, billing and gross margin goals and hours
- Adheres to safety policy and all procedures

- Communication Skills : ability to listen to others, provide appropriate feedback, communicate professionally to develop, and maintain successful work relationships. Demonstrated ability for effective report writing and presentation skills
Qualifications: - Two years of tutoring/teaching experience in a tutor and/or school setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education or currently enrolled in higher education institution
- Educational development knowledge and skills: has experience related to education or field of study; can demonstrate competency. Can design, deliver, and monitor effective tutoring strategies
- Ownership of a mobile phone and consistent internet access are required for regular communication
- Effective communication with students, parents, College Tutors , teachers and others related to assignments
- Computer and technology proficient with demonstrated aptitude using Microsoft Office or other business applications and software
- CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain certification
Physical Environment: - Works in a clean, well-lit environment
- Travel may be required with reliable transportation to and from tutoring location(s). Access to a vehicle and driver’s license are necessary this position
