Job description

Opportunity: Sr. Manager of Hotel Technology  The Senior Manager of Hotel Technology Systems works across the HHM Hotels portfolio to coordinate hotel technology projects, troubleshoot escalated system issues, and manage vendor relationships with a focus on PMS, POS, Credit Card systems, Guest HSIA, PBX and other hotel systems. This role will also provide support for onboarding new properties into the HHM portfolio of hotels.  The Senior Manager of Hotel Technology Systems collaborates with support and product vendors as part of the daily systems management. The preferred candidate will have experience working with national hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, etc.) and have a complete understanding of the hotel technology stack.  The position is a corporate position, based out of one of HHM's markets (Philadelphia, NYC, New England, DC, Orlando, Texas). Working from home is an option based on location. The position includes up to 25% travel to hotel properties across the US as needed for projects and support. Responsibilities: Your Focus • Coordinate approved hotel technology projects across the hotel portfolio; managing schedule, budget, and communication through go-live • Collaborate with the HHM IT team, property teams, and vendors to resolve problems in technology systems including hospitality applications, networks, and telecommunications • Provide systems training to hotel and corporate employees • Provide weekly and monthly updates on assigned projects, and track them against a capital plan • Publish timely and thorough documentation on administration and support of all related systems • Support a variety of interfaces between hotel PMS and associated hotel technology  • Manage third-party vendor relationships to maintain and resolve problems for hotel systems: voice and data circuits, guest WiFi, PBX, PMS, POS, guest entertainment/technology, credit cards • Test and build use case for new hotel technology systems • Respond to after-hours technical emergencies • Tracks all property IT work in the corporate help desk system accurately and timely • Manage 1 or more direct reports, who will assist with projects, support and travel-related needs • Follow all national brand standards  • Perform other duties as required Qualifications: Your Background and Skills • 7+ years of hospitality technology and project management experience is preferred • Technical and operational experience with hotel technology stack required • Knowledge of network, virtual and security technologies preferred • Experience in PCI compliance-related controls is highly desired • Flexibility for local and regional travel up to 25% of the time • Have experience with at minimum 1 direct report  About Company: HHM Hotels is a distinguished and award-winning hotel management and investment company with a portfolio of independent Luxury and Lifestyle, Resorts, Premium Branded and Branded Select hotels spanning the United States and Canada.
