Job description

Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time Adult Education Instructor for our Adult Education Program for morning, afternoon and evening classes located on and off campus (6- county service area).  This instructor will focus on the new pathway Career Plus HSE.  This individual will be responsible for preparation and delivery of lesson plans and routine daily maintenance for classroom instruction to students 16 years of age and up.  This position also requires evaluation of student progress in attaining goals and objectives; attend staff development training, workshops, seminars, and conferences, and ensure all safety and security requirements are met in trainings.  This position is full-time/exempt.

Please note the following information regarding this position:

a) May be assigned to work at any location on or off campus within our service delivery area. (Muscogee County, Stewart County, Quitman County, Chattahoochee County, Harris County, and Talbot County)

b) May require travel.

Salary/Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include state holidays, annual leave, sick leave, State of Georgia Retirement, Health and Flexible Benefits Program.
