Summary: This role is a full-time salaried position that has the potential for incentives for sales growth. The work schedule will be flexible to properly accommodate the needs of the business, however core hours would be Monday through Friday and weekends as needed to ensure event coverage or implementation. This role will require a strongly organized individual with events skills experience that will run the daily operations of the BASE ONE events venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a vast spectrum of responsibilities to ensure our guests are provided the highest level of attention and care set by the PENZONE brands during their BASE ONE experience. This position will evolve over time as we identify what additional staffing may be required to support this role and the daily operations within BASE ONE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary point of contact regarding inquiries for; Co-working Suites, Creative Studio offerings, Event Studios (or Space Rentals), Equipment Rentals, Salon Studio, Spa Suite Rentals, and prospective educators inquiring to set up events for training/education
• Executes BASE ONE events as planned or in coordination with Marketing Events Manager
• Executes BASE ONE external events as planned or in coordination with Experience Coordinators.
• Works with experience team in coordinating event bookings through the BASE ONE booking site and monitors the events calendar for potential opportunities and/or conflicts in scheduling
• Drives revenue opportunities by proactively contacting perspective clients/guests
• Addresses daily needs within the facility and escalates feedback to Facilities team as needed
• Assists in developing floor plans for events and coordinates set up/tear down
• Reviews on-site product and inventory needs and escalates information to warehouse as needed for re-stocking
• Manages BASE ONE facility team members, providing direction and supervision while overseeing the team's performance, work schedules, vacation schedules, timeclocks, and attendance tracking
• Responsible for venue staffing/hiring needs
• Coordinates opening/closing duties
• Provides timely and innovative solutions to all BASE ONE guest concerns
• Provides extraordinary guest service and spends time circulating on the floor to support our guests
• Maintains cleanliness and Ohio State Board of Cosmetology standards within BASE ONE
• Collaborates with PENZONE team members to provide an elevated experience for guests
• Manages contracts/agreements with new guests
• Other tasks and responsibilities not listed that may be deemed as essential or necessary to this role

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent written + verbal communication skills
• Prefer minimum of 3 years successful managerial experience in events preferred
• Demonstrated sales experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities
• Capable + willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability + desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Track record of high achievement and a sense of self-motivation
• Strong interpersonal skills that allow for confident interactions with all demographics of potential guests/clients
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Basic understanding of technology support
• Must have terrific references and pass a background check
