Position: Data center technician
Location: Lubbock, TX 79404
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Driving
Pay rate: 25/hour
Job Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Work:
Break-fix repair of industry-standard enterprise-level servers, blades, storage, and networking equipment.
Working with various teams in the data center environment to schedule service outages, repairs, validations, inventory control, and the associated paperwork.
Interact professionally with onsite customer personnel and the local client team.
Requested Skills:
Background in Hardware Server and /or Storage repairs, Data center experience as a plus
Excellent communication skills.
Positive Attitude and mechanical aptitude to assist in troubleshooting complex.
Specific Server and Storage training will be provided
Learn and retain proprietary processes.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have
A+ Certification
data center
routers/switches
server/storage hardware repair skills.
SmartHands Hands-on experience in a data center, break-fix on Dell Equipment.
