Job Opportunity:
We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Early Childhood Development Specialists. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.

Summary of Main Duties:
As an Early Childhood Development Specialist, you will partner with and support parents or guardians in understanding and enhancing the development of their infants or toddlers with disabilities. Your focus will be on fostering cognitive, communication, motor, behavioral, and social skills in the child, empowering them to thrive within their family and community. This is a full-time position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide home-based and remote services to families with children ages 0-3 who have developmental delays, respecting and valuing their cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Collaborate closely with families to assess the child's development, establish goals, and implement individualized plans for support and intervention.
Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team of therapists to develop and implement strategies that support the child's progress towards developmental milestones.
Offer guidance and coaching to caregivers, empowering them to integrate developmental strategies into their daily routines.
Identify and connect families with community resources to further support their needs and enhance learning opportunities for the child.
Ensure timely completion of all required documentation and events according to program guidelines.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education, or certification by the Rhode Island Department of Education in relevant teaching specialties.
