Currently, we have an opening for a Bi-Lingual Production Lead.
This position will lead and participate in production to accomplish daily tasks and ensure production schedules and needs are being met. This position is a non-exempt hourly position and will report directly to the Production Manager.
The Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position are :
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Lead and participate in performing production-related activities such as assembly, fabrication, and/or sewing, and/or upholstery.
- Assist the Production Supervisor/Manager with monitoring production processes, work assignments, parts availability, and manufacturing supplies and provide input for process and workflow modifications as necessary to achieve production schedule attainment targets.
- Performing periodic process audits of manufacturing practices.
- Provide technical guidance and feedback to assemblers when needed to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with developing and updating procedures, checklists, and guidelines necessary to sustain changes and improvements in product quality and process controls.
- Assist with the development and execution of cross-training plans for new hires and temporary workforce.
- Maintain cross-training matrix and sustain cross-training targets required to meet production goals.
- Lead daily shift start-up meetings.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
Requirements for this position are :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational degree preferred.
- One year of work experience with major duties and responsibilities required.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required.
