All America Threaded Products has an opportunity available for Accounting Assistant! This is a salaried position with an anticipated starting salary of $50,000-$60,000 a year and is eligible for our full benefits package. The Workweek for this position Full-Time , (40 hours per week) Monday – Friday and does have limited flexibility for limited remote work. This position will be on-site at our facility in Lancaster, PA . We are looking for a reliable employee who values safety, hard work, and shares our drive for excellence. 

Starting Pay Range : $50,000-$60,000 per year.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This position provides general accounting support for the company and reports to the Division Controller. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, making journal entries, reconciling accounts, producing periodic financial reports, and other accounting activities as assigned. This position offers comprehensive industry accounting experience and opportunities for advancement. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting monthly close by making journal entries, producing reports, and reviewing discrepancies.
• Reconciling balance sheets and bank accounts.
• Ensuring proper transaction and account coding.
• Producing monthly financial statements and supplementary reports.
• Supporting the Controller and department with any other tasks and projects as assigned.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

This position is ideal for a candidate who has entry level practical skills in accounting and ideally an academic background in accounting or finance. We are willing to train the right candidate, however a basic knowledge of excel and the general principals of accounting will be necessary. 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Familiar with general accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office software.
• Data entry skills.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and current IRS guidance is not required but would be a plus!
