Job description
ThriveMore Brands is currently seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in our financial management and reporting processes. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making within our organization.
What you will be doing?
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into the studio's financial health and performance trends.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across the studio level.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor financial trends, economic factors, and industry benchmarks to provide proactive recommendations to management.
- Financial Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Rebate Management: Maintain and organize contracts and rebate information
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Generate ad hoc financial reports to address specific financial inquiries and support decision-making processes.
What We’re Looking For?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a strong track record of financial analysis and reporting.
- Accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets) and business intelligence.
- Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
