McGeorge Contracting Company is looking for a dynamic person to join the firm as a Safety and HR coordinator for our Heavy Civil Highway Division office in Little Rock, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will help ensure that McGeorge promotes a culture where people and safety are a priority in the workplace. Primary responsibilities will be preparing and processing new hire paperwork along with conducting new hire orientation . Managing the drug and background screening process. Data entry on all task training and certifications. Assist team members and management personnel on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs, and procedures. Assist with employee benefits communication. Prepare and conduct safety training sessions, documenting employee participation. Responsible for OSHA record-keeping and Workers Compensation incidents and reports.
