Job description

OVERVIEW

The production planner is responsible for developing work instructions for the production team. This role is critical to the successful outcome of our projects. This role works in a fast-paced environment that involves interaction with several different teams.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Process new orders using proprietary software.
• Communicate order status to production.
• Submit daily status reports to the manufacturing teams.
• Plan and forecast to avoid conflicts in manufacturing priorities and resolve conflicts when they arise.
• Prepare work packages for release to manufacturing.
• Work with production and shipping to identify process improvements.
• Support key process improvements initiatives.

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• High attention to detail.
• Works well with others, team player.
• Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments utilizing excellent time management skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
• Ability to maintain proper attendance and punctuality standards.
