What You Will Be Doing

Throughout plant operations, you will face challenges related to manufacturing process planning, design, improvement, and optimization. With a laser-like emphasis on promoting both gradual and drastic process optimization, you will be responsible for supporting the current product and process offerings.

- Creates, assesses, and puts into practice highly competent, economical, and optimized manufacturing processes and inspection techniques in compliance with product requirements and quality standards.
- Uses Six Sigma and Lean industrial methodologies to improve and reduce waste in all manufacturing procedures.
- Oversees projects for Lean / Six Sigma Initiatives, project improvement Kaizens, and IQ/OQ/PQ Validations.
- Creates and applies processes and techniques for process control to manufacturing settings.
- Examines floor plans and industrial process flows to improve throughput, quality, safety, and cost.
- Calculates relative costs, production schedules, and resource needs in order to supply information for operational choices.
- Collaborates closely with production divisions to plan, organize, and carry out staff technical training.
- Builds and maintains effective gauges, fixtures, and equipment to assist with manufacturing.
- Helps the manufacturing department troubleshoot and fix technological issues by providing engineering support.
- Help with design reviews and FMEA activities, as well as support the creation of the PFMEA.
- Oversees the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions (CAPA) for nonconformance.

What You Need for this Position

At least 2 years of experience with a combination of the following:
- CNC Machining, sheet metal cutting or Injection molding
- Process Improvement
- SolidWorks to design tools and fixtures
- Lean Manufacturing

A plus to have experience with:
- Passivation (highly desired!!), welding, polishing, anodizing, or heat treating
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Medical industry
