Are you a successful and knowledgeable personal injury attorney looking to work alongside an established team of high-performing professionals? If so, we’d like to connect. Our firm is looking for an applicant who can manage case files from start to finish and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. We need someone with excellent credentials, a real passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. Responsibilities:
- Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system
- Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
- Govern personal injury case files from inception to completion
- Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation
- Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate
Qualifications:
- State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
- Computer proficiency is essential
- Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
- Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
- 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
