Summary:
The BDC/Internet Sales Director is responsible for organizing, developing, and monitoring the daily activities of incoming sales call and internet leads for Sales department. Through the use of automotive DMS and CRM systems, the right individual will be able to develop a successful and efficient process for the department.
This position is also responsible for the hiring and recruitment process for BDC phone and internet appointment setters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the Business Development Center
- Actively train and mentor BDC Representatives
- Maintain an accurate customer database through the CRM system
- Ensure all customer follow-up is in a timely and professional manner
- Track follow-up and appointments, and run active reports for the department
- Communicate with other department managers to ensure high quality service
- Prepare, compose and update all scripts for appointment setting and follow-up calls
- Other reasonable duties as may be requested
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience leading an inside sales team performing in a high-relationship consultative sales process. Two to 3 years inside sales experience in an outbound calling role.
- Knowledge in DMS, CRM systems (automotive industry preferred)
- Sales skills in a team environment
- Sales management and human relations skills
- Ability to drive performance through the creation of a productive and fun work environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge of the automotive industry
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work evenings until 9:00 PM
- Ability to work weekends as business needs dictate
