Job description
This is a full-time position that is responsible for providing day-to-day support for headquarters Human Resources functions as needed. An expert in the HRIS systems; monitoring security, system access levels and training and assisting end users. Assisting with special projects and employee relations. Audits and ensures compliance. Assists in maintaining the human resource employee records and files. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
HR Operations
- Assists with employee relations as well as job description creations/updates, compensation reports, and performance management, as requested by the HR Supervisor/Business Advisor.
- Assists with providing general office support with data entry, data integrity, compliance, system maintenance, etc.
- Performs extensive computer work as follows: data entry in HR systems, prepares letters, reports and miscellaneous documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Assists employees with questions related to policies and procedures
- Acts as backup to other team members and performs other duties as assigned.
HRIS
- Manages HR system including time and attendance, system validation tables, security permissions, employee portal and setup; ensures that systems records are accurately recorded and crosschecked.
- Validates and audits data daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Creates, interprets, and analyzes reports on HR metrics and analytics for HR Supervisor/Business Advisor.
- Track and resolve problems with system operations as necessary.
Compliance
- Works closely with HR Supervisor/Business Advisor to administer compliance programs including labor law posters.
- Completes Unemployment claims/disputes and verbal/written employment verifications.
- Keep abreast of employment law and HR regulations; HR guidelines, processes and procedures, and policies.
- Stays up-to-date on emerging employment law and monitors various websites for HR information that may impact operations; providing updates to HR Supervisor/Business Advisor.
- Tracks info to ensure company compliance with requirements under FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc. and reporting.
- Prepare and timely file EEO-1, Vets-100 and any other EEOC/OFCCP reports and review and compile AAP reports.
- Conducts periodic audits for data integrity, procedures, files, etc. to ensure compliance. Ensuring record-keeping regulations and/or requirements are being upheld.
- An Associate’s degree in a related business field with three to five (3-5) years of experience in general or specialized human resources work, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive human resource information at all times.
- Must have good data entry skills and be able to produce accurate work within regular deadlines.
- Must reside in or relocate to Casper, Wyoming.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
