Description:

Aviation technician troubleshoots, repairs, and/or overhauls, and test aircraft components to include the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts of the repair station manual. Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions. Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation. Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer’s manuals. Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed. Provides other duties as needed and assigned. · Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 Standards
