Job description
As a part of the Walt Disney Company, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in the development and execution of global brand strategies & franchise initiatives, to drive licensing business & consumer engagement.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Brand Planning
This is a Full-Time role.
Every single day in the Assistant Manager role is different! On any one day, you might:
Assist in the development and implementation of global strategic plans to drive business results, including merchandise, retail, & creative strategies.
Assist in the development of marketing strategies via briefing, campaign ideation & development
Analyze and consolidate program summaries, including the collection of consumer and business insights to inform future strategies
Manage marketing, PR, and advertising approvals from a Brand perspective, including collaborating with content partners when required
Develop & maintain sales tools, including internal and external facing presentations, pitch decks, global brand direction documents, sell sheets, calendars, and sizzles, customizing where appropriate
Manage new business inquiries. This includes evaluation, clearance, and decision in partnership with Sr. Manager. If approved, additional tools may be needed.
Support content launches tied to portfolio, including clearances and post-launch summaries
Owns regional meetings on behalf of the team, including agenda and recap notes
Minimum 3 years of brand management, franchise, marketing or licensing experience with a global consumer products organization
Self-starter and highly motivated
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work with and interpret financial data & analytical problem solver
Exceptional organizational & project management skills, with keen attention to detail
Ability to prioritize & manage multiple deadlines
Thrives in a team environment
Adept at engaging & collaborating with colleagues at all levels to develop & maintain solid relationships
Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable to change
Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Outlook, Box & Google Docs

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $84,500 to $113,300 per year and in Orlando, FL is $80,500 to $107,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
