Job description

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced IT OT Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hillsboro, OR. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the daily operations of all Manufacturing IT OT systems, supporting system owners, participating in manufacturing site projects, and contributing to various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and proactive system management.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot immediate DeltaV (DCS) and Syncade MES issues during regular business hours.
Update system lifecycle documentation for both PCS and MES as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for thin client requalification.
Perform MILE (system maintenance) activities for PCS and MES.
Conduct periodic reviews, analyzing data from deviations over the past three years, assessing the impact on the system's validated state, and drafting comprehensive reports.
Monitor PCS and MES systems on a daily and weekly basis.
Attend coordination meetings to stay informed about changes to global IT systems affecting MES and PCS.
Support system owner squads in procurement, development, integration, modification, operation, maintenance, and retirement of PCS and MES.
Contribute to validation activities.
Assume responsibility for the Periodic System Audit Trail Review.
Perform annual automation account reviews.
Handle user account auditing, provisioning, resets, and activation for all IT and OT systems.
Generate reports for various systems on demand.
Work closely with System Owners and Business Process Owners for system upgrades, patching, and changes to ensure GMP compliance.
Review and address ServiceNow tickets or route them to the SME.
Run monthly site termination reports and update AD accordingly.
Provide support for document management systems (Veeva, Condor, eVal Roche).
Assist the team with various administrative tasks.

Role Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a similar field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in system and/or network administration.

Technical Skills:

DeltaV (DCS) Administration.
Proficiency in SQL Database Server; knowledge of SQL Database Cluster (Always ON) is a plus.
Troubleshooting DCS (hardware and software), MES, and web service issues.
Familiarity with MES platforms, preferably Syncade.
Knowledge of ASP .net web services.
Network Administration experience.
Familiarity with industrial data and control interfaces, preferably OPC and OPC-UA.
System administration skills, supporting multiple platforms and applications.
Biopharmaceutical or similar manufacturing domain knowledge.
Application engineering experience with manufacturing control systems, preferably Distributed Control Systems (e.g., DeltaV).
Stay updated on key Manufacturing IT trends, such as Smart Buildings, Smart Manufacturing, Industrial IoT, Manufacturing Digital Plant Maturity, Cybersecurity, Pharma 4.0, Data Integrity principles, technology, and data standardization.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Health Authority practices, 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP Annex 11, and Data Integrity principles.

Salary: $ 60.00 70.00 Per Hour
