As a Health Program Manager II, you will . . . Provide leadership, direction, and coordination for the Population Health Unit, leading health equity and population health program and policy development to improve health outcomes and narrow health disparities. In collaboration with the Equity & Quality Transformation division leadership and staff and other Covered California divisions, you will work collaboratively with health plans, providers, and public and private purchasers to achieve these goals.

Salary:

$7,420.00 - $9,219.00 per Month

This position can be located at any of the following locations: Sacramento, Los Angeles, Oakland, and San Francisco. Will consider candidates from all parts of California. Travel expenses associated with commuting to the employee’s office headquarters location are not reimbursable, other than authorized transit subsidies.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

1. Experience leading a diverse team in policy or program development. Experience can be at the supervisory level or in the role of team lead that provides direction for work assignments.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.

3. Experience developing and implementing policies or programs aimed to reduce health disparities, improve access to health care services, address social drivers of health, or improve population health.

4. Experience working with health plans or health care providers to develop and strengthen disparity reduction or quality improvement strategies, or related contract management or grant management experience.

5. Experience reviewing data and measurement to interpret results, evaluate program effectiveness, and inform policy or program development.

6. Bachelor's degree or higher in public health, healthcare administration, public policy, or related field of study.
