Job description
We are presently seeking an experienced 'Systems Administrator' for a thriving Aerospace/Defense contractor located in Woburn, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate must be a US citizen with an active Secret Clearance and possess mandatory Linux experience, demonstrating a stable work history.

Responsibilities:
- Provide after-hours support for maintenance and patching as needed.
- Configure and maintain NAS Storage, Networking, Firewall, and Directory Services, including MS Active Directory management and Group Policy administration.
- Develop and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installation and configuration.
- Stay updated on DoD security and technical guidelines, adhering to organizational policies.
- Conduct performance monitoring, results analysis, and process automation using PowerShell scripting and other technologies.
- Offer professional support to senior administrators, Information System Security Officers (ISSO), management, researchers, and other customer support roles.
- Provide daily support, systems maintenance, problem resolution, tracing, and project support.
- Assist senior administrators in implementing, deploying, and maintaining Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems in various hardware solutions, both traditional and virtualized.

Requirements:
- Linux Administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Active Secret clearance.

- Windows OS Administration.
- Active Directory including Group Policy, LDAP backend, and Replication.
- Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) support.
- Current knowledge of DoD Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS).
- Effective utilization of Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Content and Tools.
- Enterprise Virtualization Tools.
- Host Based Security System (HBSS) implementation and maintenance.
- Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Public Key Infrastructure.
- Top Secret clearance with full scope polygraph.
- Web Server.
