job summary:
An Engineering Manager is needed for a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company in the Overland Park, KS area. The Engineering Manager oversees project engineering and management for green fuels and hydrogen projects, supervising teams, interfacing with clients, ensuring technical excellence, and supporting business development initiatives.

salary: $44.06 - 62.94 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on complex projects.
- Defines project schedules for single discipline or multiple disciplines.
- Determines identification of key client interests and drivers on projects.
- Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns.
- Offers other services to the client.
- Provides support to business development or pursuit.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles, applicable design guides, and standards related to assigned engineering discipline.
- Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content.
- Intermediate industry knowledge and technology trends.
- Intermediate knowledge of company quality program, construction practices, procurement, contract administration, project controls, estimating, and technical aspects of the proposal process.
- Intermediate business and financial acumen.
- Intermediate knowledge of management techniques and administrative practices.
Education and Experience:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
