Job description
Position Overview: The Superintendent is a vital part of the construction project team, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, evaluating progress, and ensuring that all relevant details are taken into account. Key Responsibilities: Lead the field operations for a variety of projects, including commercial construction, healthcare, educational, multi-family, and industrial projects. Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and construction plans. Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and owners to ensure that projects are completed on-time and within budget. Conduct daily inspections to ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and local building codes. Manage and monitor the progress of all construction activities, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Act as a liaison between the owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are in alignment. Resolve issues quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a positive relationship with all stakeholders. Qualifications: ~7+ years of experience in a superintendent role. ~ Strong understanding of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards. ~ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. ~ Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. ~ Proficient in MS Office and project management software. ~ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
