The Salesforce Administrator Developer will be a member of the Technology Services team building tools to support the firm and clients. Using an agile framework, the ideal candidate will work closely with teammates within Technology Services as well as other team members from across the Firm to drive the innovative use and adoption of Salesforce with an eye towards revenue-generating activities and productivity enhancements with both prospects and clients.
Hybrid Required: 2-3 days on-site per week in Akron, OH; Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh, PA
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years expertise with Salesforce, Certifications preferred
- Sales Cloud, Lightning Edition experience required
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) and integration with Salesforce
- 2+ years development experience on the Salesforce platform developing with:
- Visual Force, Java-script, Apex controllers, Apex Classes/Triggers Configurations, Workflow, Flows, Process Builders, Batch jobs & standard SFDC components
- 2+ years experience in building queries using SOQL or SOSL
- Experience with Agile framework
Salesforce Capabilities:
- Experience with Salesforce data loading tools (Data Loader)
- Experience with best practice testing and deployment practices within the Salesforce platform
- Understanding of Salesforce design and development best practices, Apex Design
- Understanding how and when to create custom objects vs. out-of- the-box functionality
- Experience with Salesforce development tools (ex. Developer Workbench, Salesforce Inspector)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar
- Experience in Professional Services organization a strong plus
- Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures and policies

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all parts of the software development lifecycle for their projects
- Support and implement administrative functions such as the maintenance of licenses, custom objects, page layouts, record types, page layouts, fields, triggers, validation rules and formulas
- Creation of ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support firm decision making
- Evaluate implementation options and provide recommendations on scope and scale of effort required to develop a solution to fit business needs. Clearly convey the value of the recommended solution to business owners
- Share knowledge and experience regarding the Salesforce platform and how it can be used to accomplish firm goals and improve user experience
- Design, develop, document, and implement solutions that support and maintain best-practice approach within the Salesforce platform
- Develop and maintain apex code, process builder and flows
- Document, maintain, support, and extend the existing Salesforce implementation
- Actively participate in team activities and knowledge sharing, including scrum ceremonies
- Actively participate in definition and refinement of team processes and activities
- Work collaboratively and effectively with all members of the team (Product Owner (PO), Business Analyst (BA), Quality Assurance (QA), Developer)
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders and other Technology Services team members to understand and design solutions to achieve business objectives
- Stay up to date on Salesforce releases and potential updates that will help to improve our system, while advising the team and Stakeholders of the benefits and risks of implementing the changes
- Technical ownership of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) and its integration with Salesforce
