Position: Tester
Location: Hybrid
We are seeking a skilled Web Application Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven experience in testing new web applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, program subject matter experts, and technical staff to define comprehensive test scenarios.
- Proficiency in creating detailed test cases based on use cases, software specifications, and design documents.
- Capability to create and execute test cases based on user interface, functional requirements, etc., and to identify requirements where they may be lacking.
- Familiarity with HP ALM software for tracking test cases and executions across multiple releases and user roles.
- Experience using HP ALM software to ensure requirements coverage and generate reports on test coverage, status, and defects.
- Skilled in defect management, including identifying, recording, tracking, prioritizing, and communicating defects using ALM to document, track, and communicate problems to technical staff.
- Expertise in creating and executing test cases to validate functional requirements for system-generated reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
