Job description
.NET Developer (Remote - Harrisburg, PA)
We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer for our client, a Commonwealth of PA entity. The contractor's primary responsibilities will be to work in a team environment on the development of the ERP system based on the code base acquired. The team will be responsible for ensuring the utilization and compliance with Software Engineering Processes (SEP) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC SCRUM) methods.
This is a 40-hr/week, 6-month (possible extension) project, remote in Harrisburg, PA. While this is a remote role, the candidate may be required to report to the client's headquarters in Harrisburg, PA, occasionally. Candidates local to the Harrisburg, PA Area will be preferred.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and delivering the ERP system from its inception to production.
Work with agency information technology staff to define systems requirements, assist with development, perform system testing, assist with data conversion, and participate in the preparation of procedural manuals and system documentation as requested by IT and/or Business.
Assist in the development and implementation of .NET component solutions including the user interface, SSRS, and SharePoint for the ERP System.
Assist in the creation of the frontend User Interface for the Workflow and Tracking project.
Assist in the creation of the required reports that have been identified for the Workflow and Tracking project. These will be created using the SSRS tool.
Assist in the integration of ERP with Microsoft SharePoint Online for Office 365 concurrent updates and version control and site.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience with the following:
o .NET Core/Standard or latest application.
o Subject Matter Expertise (SME) developing and supporting highly complex web applications with workflow and process capability.
o Demonstrated experience with an application development methodology along with experience in database modeling and design.
Experience with API development and use of REST API.
Experience with REST API security based on Token, including use of caching and logging.
Experience with building and deploying using release pipelines and YAML.
Experience with SQL server and Entity Framework.
Experience with SSRS / Power BI Reporting.
API Documentation and performance testing,
Experience with Angular, C#.NET and Powershell.
Experience with Azure deployment, and ASP.NET MVC development is highly desired.
