The Amazon Robotics (AR) Operations organization oversees the manufacturing of high-quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions. It’s a fast-paced operation that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally, and is driven by data and performance indicators.
This role will report to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and tools. We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes, tools, and connectivity with other services and systems. The Senior PLM and Business Systems Analyst (HDE3) will own all aspects of the PLM system including the integrity of the data. In this role, you are not just a policy-maker/spokesperson but need to dive deep and get things done. You will develop the right metrics to manage the PLM system and drive org-wide continuous improvement. You will chart the course enabling digital twin capabilities as we visualize the production environment and leverage model creation to accelerate product and process development.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and tools in a electro-mechanical environment.
* Manage the integration and automation of business tools related to the PLM process (Oracle, Agile, and other tools)
* Develop and monitor metrics to report on process health and data integrity.
* Interface with all necessary individuals in order to accurately process changes and structure new products.
* Monitor the performance of the Engineering Change process.
* Define standards for Product and Bill of Material definition.
* Develop a continuous improvement strategy in the Product Lifecycle Management processes.
* Partner with application developers to scope and implement new product features.
* Provide guidance to PLM user community and other Amazon organizations on PLM best practices.
* Develop and manage business process mapping, process gap identification, and gap reconciliation.
* Support acceptance testing and adoption for customizations and application enhancements
* Analyze and translate business requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives
* Work with other process/application owners to synchronize and harmonize master data between Agile, Proplanner, Oracle EBS, iHUB, and other tools.
* Identify and work cross-functionally to ensure solutions implemented enabling digital production process development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
- Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings
