Job Description:

• Support End user Services Architecture, Integration and Unified Communications teams including Program Managers, Technical Leads, Mission Leads, and Systems Engineers.
• Responsible for the preparation, writing, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Research highly technical subject matter and organize information from multiples sources. Express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of
  readers.
• Apply technical manual standards to work products.
• Coordinate layout and design of documents.
• Under general direction, write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents.
• Ability to Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
• Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts,
  and other available sources.
• Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum six years technical writing experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Minimum of bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• High School Diploma or GED and ten years of technical writing experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is also acceptable.
