Associate Director of MBA Programs, Cornell Tech (NYC)

Position Summary
The Associate Director of MBA Programs, reporting to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Education for Cornell Tech and the Senior Director of EMBA Programs for Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, is responsible for overseeing key operational aspects of Cornell Tech MBA programs and serving as the primary contact for Cornell Tech MBA students. This position is a vital, student-centric member of the campus' Student & Academic Affairs team who manages programming and provides advising and student support for students enrolled in the Cornell Tech MBA programs. The goal of the position is to support and enhance the entire MBA student experience.

The Associate Director of MBA Programs will oversee the coordination of communication and activities, provide year-round academic advising and support and respond to Cornell Tech MBA student issues and questions starting from pre-enrollment through graduation. The role will also assist in the coordination and execution of major campus events with the Student & Academic Affairs team including masters student orientation, student community building events and the Recognition Ceremony.


In this role, the incumbent will be an integral member of a collaborative team of colleagues to support Cornell Tech MBA students including the Cornell Tech MBA Faculty Program Director, admissions, career management, and Studio as well as serve as the liaison to the Johnson School and key student support offices in Ithaca.


Cornell enrollment representatives across its administrative offices and within its colleges, schools, and units share a mission to partner with students, faculty, staff, and alumni, supporting strategic enrollment goals so that any person can find instruction in any study.

Enrollment services are carried out through a matrixed organizational system in which staff in Division of Enrollment offices serve as partner and resource for colleges, schools, and units and all staff serving enrollment functions engage in regular collaboration.
