Senior Project Manager - Public Works

Job description
You will play a crucial part in supporting our land and site clients, contributing to the development of robust projects, and delivering top-notch service offerings to a diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in identifying, communicating, and designing land and site developments, encompassing infrastructure, paving, and drainage design.
- Manage and coordinate SUE investigations, schedules, and submittals to ensure comprehensive project execution.
- Oversee the hands-on design and design supervision of EIT work, including the sealing of design drawings.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients and manage client relationships, ensuring project schedules comply with federal, state, and local laws and client regulations.
- Work independently and collaboratively with project teams to meet client needs and objectives.
- Review and perform QA/QC of agreements, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and invoices to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Conduct project records research, prepare client deliverables, exhibits, project guides, reviews, invoices, and perform project monitoring and field verification as required.
- Handle utility permitting preparation and submittal, monitoring progress against project schedules.
- Coordinate with environmental sub-consultants and assist with other design needs as necessary.
Requirements :
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5-10 years as a Licensed Professional Engineer, willing to attain Texas PE within 6 months.
- 5-10 years of progressive engineering experience with a focus on land and site development.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and HEC RAS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude with a proactive approach to projects.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations, prioritize, and meet deadlines on multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team settings, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas and solutions.
- Proven organization and proactive time management skills.
- Strong desire to learn and take on new types of projects.
- Ability to recognize technical problems and proactively take corrective actions using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
