Job description
BAE Systems is currently recruiting for Smokeless Helper(s) to join our Green Lines production team at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. We are seeking a detail oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the role.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reading/complying with work instructions.
Operating large scale manufacturing equipment.
Packaging, drying and transporting energetic material.
Weighing and sampling material.
Capable of working effectively and willingly within a team.
Respirator use is required in some areas.
Capable of working during seasonal environmental conditions.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma / GED.
Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or prior military experience.
Candidates work a rotating shift schedule and overtime as required.
Respirator use is required in some areas and employees are subject to seasonal weather variations.
Must have ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs
Pay Information This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
