We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in SQL development, with a strong proficiency in T-SQL and stored procedures. As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into efficient and scalable database solutions.
• Optimize database performance by fine-tuning queries, indexing, and implementing best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring data integrity and system stability.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the SQL databases.
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including database schemas, data dictionaries, and process flowcharts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in SQL development, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance database performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and stored procedures, with a deep understanding of SQL Server and its various components.
• Proven experience in database design, development, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and principles.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.

• Microsoft SQL Server certification.
• Experience with other database technologies, such as Oracle or MySQL.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry
