Key Responsibilities:
- Help clients on-site with Electric issues.
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers.
- Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems and repair or substitute damaged units.
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.).
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- Use hand and power tools.
- Adhere to state and local building regulations.
- Complete work orders on time and ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Create records of materials used.
- Fully understanding local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.
- Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
- Provide feedback to improve product reliability and performance.
- Communicate technical information clearly and understandably.
- Ensure client satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution.
- Follow safety rules on field visits and be aware of industry regulations to make sure everything is done the right way.
Requirements:
- Valid electrical license.
- Own transportation and valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Proven experience in commercial electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
