Job description
Job Summary:
As a Detailer at Granite Automotive in Rapid City, South Dakota, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our vehicles are presented to customers in a clean and attractive manner. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, offering a competitive compensation ranging from $15.5 to $18 per hour, which will be paid semimonthly. This is an individual contributor role, where you will be responsible for detailing vehicles and maintaining their appearance.

Responsibilities:
- Carefully detailing and cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including vacuuming, washing, waxing, and polishing
- Removing any contaminants or imperfections from the vehicle's surfaces, such as tar, bugs, or grease
- Applying protective coatings to surfaces to enhance their shine and longevity
- Inspecting and identifying any damages or issues with the vehicle's appearance, and reporting them to management
- Organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient work area
- Ensuring that all vehicles meet the set quality standards before being presented to customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive detailing or related field
- Knowledge of various cleaning and detailing products and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
