Network Engineer
Contract or Contract to Hire
This is an onsite work role. SL County - west side location
Pay Target $35 - $42 per hour depending on experience
Job Description
Work with the manufacturing business units and internal software development team supporting their network and security systems infrastructure. This is a manufacturing environment, and you would occasionally need to wear safety gear in hazardous environments. There are a lot of isolated and critical environments where the network has to continuously up and maintained via wifi components - and cybersecurity safe.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience setting up, upgrading, and maintaining security systems and protocols
- Experience setting up, upgrading, troubleshooting Wifi networks, connectivity, and ancillary devices
- Experience setting up and testing switch networks
- Experience setting up, sizing, scaling, and maintaining IP networks on hardware devices such as Cisco and similar
- Experience performing network connectivity and performance load tests
