Roadway Testing Technician - Entry Level

We are currently seeking a full-time Roadway Testing Technician to join our Construction Services team in Duluth, Georgia.

This position will work out of the Georgia Department of Transportation District 3 located in Thomaston, Georgia.

What You Will Do:

As a Roadway Testing Technician , you will make a difference! The field testing and observations of construction materials you perform each day help ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. You will see construction projects from beginning to end, documenting the successful placement and use of soil, concrete, rebar, asphalt, aggregate, and other building materials. It is our job to make sure it is "built right", and at S&ME we take that responsibility very seriously. Join us and become part of the team that makes construction a success.

Ability to obtain GDOT Roadway Testing Technician certification within 90 days of employment and GDOT Quality Control Technician, Level I within 120 days of employment.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference Check Program.
