Job description
Service Valets complete various tasks to help a dealership maintain a clear and organized lot, including:
- Moving cars between display areas, the shop, storage facilities and customer pickup locations
- Driving and handling cars cautiously to protect customer & company property
- Keeping track of the location for all cars on the lot by annotating parking location on the key tag
- Cleaning and maintaining the interiors and exteriors of vehicles
- Performing general clean up on the dealership lot
- Completing offsite tasks to assist dealership management
- Greeting customers with a smile, checking in their vehicle for service, guiding them to the appropriate advisor for their appointment
- Checking cars for scratches or dents and annotating the vehicle condition on the check in sheet/electronically on the provided iPad.
- Assisting customers by answering questions or meeting transportation needs
- Transporting vehicles to customers' homes or other locations for Servicing purposes
- Providing shuttle services as requested
