Seeking experienced Mechanical Techs

Company Profile

Local Oil and Gas company will be hosting a hiring event for this position in March. Position is responsible for assembling mechanical equipment or manufactured equipment to specifications as called out on equipment drawings.

Mechanical Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00am to 06:00am)

• Wash equipment to ensure a clean work environment.
• Operates stationary and moving overhead cranes, forklifts, and any equipment needed to perform job within safety guidelines.
• Reads and interprets assembly blueprints and schematics and plans assembly or building operations.
• Verify material per bill of material.
• Perform assemblies, based on assembly drawings and bill of materials, capable of following written assembly instructions.
• Able to record serial number of assemblies for traceability purposes. Aligns components, bolts, screws and torque them together.
• Technicians may be required to test or assist in testing operation of completed products.

Rotation schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off…starting on a Thursday and ending on a Wednesday - 12-hour shifts are either 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Man-camp housing provided if candidates live outside of the Midland/Odessa area via own lockable door’s room with a Jack and Jill-style lockable door bathroom shared between 2 rooms connected via that bathroom.

Mechanical Technician Qualifications:

• PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT HOURS WILL BE FOR BOTH DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS, IT IS A 24 HOUR OPERATION DEPENDING ON CUSTOMER DEMAND
• Techs need ability to read all schematics and use those schematics to build all required assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Must have prior experience 

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
