Full-Time Onsite Position with Paid Relocation

Our Award Winning Client is seeking a skilled Senior Associate with expertise in governmental accounting or audit, accounting processes, and policies. This opportunity offers a chance to work with a nationally recognized firm that has garnered numerous accolades in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate on the preparation of the annual budget plan.
• Prepare and analyze financial data for city management, state, and county regulators, and auditors.
• Provide financial analysis on special projects and initiatives.
• Lead and support year-end audit preparation and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain financial data, records, and reports in accordance with guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
• Consult and communicate with all levels of client leadership.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve existing reporting processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly reports.
• Lead and collaborate on long-term planning.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of governmental accounting or audit.
• Understanding of accounting processes and policies.
• 3+ years of accounting/financial planning experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, various software applications, and pertinent federal and state regulations.
• Collaborative spirit.

• Entrepreneurial mindset.
