This is a remote position.
GovFirst is currently seeking a 100% REMOTE - Solutions Architect (Associate, Sr. and Principal)to join our Client's Solutions Delivery team.
What you will do
In this role you will engage with their customers and work with the Solutions Delivery team to implement software solutions using our client's award winning Software Platform.
Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement these innovative solutions to meet our customer requirements. You will frequently engage with very large enterprise and government customers directly to define use case requirements, and work with our Client's product development and engineering team to implement high-valued business applications in support of customer’s digital transformation and modernization initiatives. You will become an expert in using our client's software platform while learning the innovative technical concepts inherent in the solution.
You will work closely with customers to learn and understand their business life cycles and relevant domain knowledge to achieve their overall business objectives using our Client's software platform. Once that is clear, you will design, implement and demonstrate and deliver solutions with our Client's software platform, conduct cordial and productive teamwork communications with both customers and the client's solutions delivery or engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Strong solution architecture, technical solution delivery, communication and client-facing skills
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment delivering technical solution to clients using innovative technologies
- Experience with delivery enterprise applications
- Quick learner, enjoy learning new technologies and is highly proactive in communication and information sharing
- 3+ years of experience with hands-on software development or technical consulting
- Experience with agile software development and best practices
- Ability to translate business logic to platform architecture and implementation
- Strong understanding of Web architecture such as HTML, Web browser, Web Server, Application Server, Database, AJAX, API, REST etc.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience developing integrations using APIs such as RESTful APIs or middleware
- Experience with data processing such as ETL, JSON processing
Required Skills
- Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools and technologies
- Experience with Web front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue, PHP, Python, R, .Net, Java
- AWS/Azure Cloud deployment and CI/CD experience.
- Good taste of UI/UX and can create nice user interface with drag-and-drop tools
- Strong solution architecture experience working with large customers
- Experience performing live interactive demos with customers (virtual or on-site)
- Demonstrate quick and passionate learning of innovative technologies as an agile and proactive problem solver, not as a passive task-taker
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Desired Skills
- Knowledgeable about major emerging technology trends such as Machine Learning/AI, Web 3.0, Cloud, No-code/Low-Code, Zero-Trust, Automation, Blockchain and Crypto technology,
- Linux System admin skills
- Experience of using no-code/low-code to create Web applications and workflow automation
- Knowledgeable about leading players in the enterprise software space and various sub-space, and can clearly articulate each player’s strength and weakness in respective space.
- Actively monitor industry innovations and best practices, and is proactive in interacting with colleagues for continuous learning, ideas sharing, training and discussion for improvements
Required Education:
- B.S./B.A. or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
