Job description
Alderson Loop is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join a project at a large power & utilities company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Apex Classes and Triggers, as well as test classes for all custom development. They will also have experience with custom user interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components. This role will involve using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization, adhering to Salesforce best practices, maintaining code documentation, and writing/maintaining test classes for all custom development. The candidate will be responsible for Salesforce configuration, customization, maintenance, and installation, as well as integrating platforms such as DocuSign, SharePoint, Slack, SAP, etc. The candidate will also participate in unit testing and quality assurance, manage a wide range of SFDC tasks for internal users, and be able to develop SOAP/REST API integrations. Hands-on experience with APEX, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, HTML, CSS, JQuery, SOAP, REST, triggers, and business processors is required. The candidate will collaborate with the Salesforce Product owner and scrum masters to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Apex Classes and Triggers, as well as test classes for all custom development.
- Develop custom user interfaces, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
- Responsible for Salesforce configuration, customization, maintenance, and installation.
- Integrate platforms such as DocuSign, SharePoint, Slack, SAP, etc.
- Participate in unit testing and quality assurance.
- Manage a wide range of SFDC tasks for internal users.
- Develop SOAP/REST API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with APEX, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, HTML, CSS, JQuery, SOAP, REST, triggers, and business processors.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Product owner and scrum masters to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Salesforce Developer certification is required.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, including REST and SOAP.
- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with Salesforce DX.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
